T O P I C R E V I E Wlibraschoice7 Hello, I was wanting to know if anyone here has Saturn in their 2nd house, and what kind of experiences have you had with it money wise? I have Saturn on the cusp of my 2nd and 3rd house(I really think it really effects my money). My financial situation has been contantly up and down, and sometimes really bad to the point where I've came close to being homeless(Thank God for my Jupiter in 12th catching me). No matter what kind of job I've held down, I hate this placement, I really do ------------------Sun in LibraMoon in CancerJupiter in CancerVenus in VirgoMars in CancerAscendant in CancerI "FEEL" therefor I amDani CaliforniaYes, I have saturn in the 2nd house as well. I hate this placement!! Its the worst one. My money goes up & down too, and seems really hard work to come by & to save.I find this a weird one I must say, a sort of feel sorry for myself, almost obsessive over money as it seems such a difficult area.libraschoice7 It is hard to make and a task to hold on to...well mabe I can at least be famous someday if not filthy rich. That is kind of a funny idea being real famous and dirt broke, ayy.------------------Sun in LibraMoon in CancerJupiter in CancerVenus in VirgoMars in CancerAscendant in CancerI "FEEL" therefor I amDani CaliforniaI'm just so pleased someone has posted a topic about this, as I was going to!! Mama MiaI too have Saturn in the Second and it has been challenging. I also have Mars in the 2nd house so money goes as quick as it comes. But I feel blessed bc I have a ok paying job and nice place in a nice neighborhood, I have a nice car and am in the process of buying a new car. My kids have all they need and want and I have all the clothes I need and want, you know us girls we have to have some lovely stuff..And I am a single mom..However I have had some ruff spots but I have family that will come to my rescue in a heart beat if need be... BelageI would assume that with Saturn in the 2nd house, you have to be methodical, steady, frugal, conservative, and you shouldn't take risks with your money. Saving money is a MUST. Don't even think about those get quick rich schemes; you'll have to work to make money, but if you take good care of it, invest it wisely and not foolishly, you should actually do well in the long run as Saturn is the lord of time, and in time, you will be wealthy. Just heed Saturn's warning of caution and hard work and steadiness and you should be allright. Dani CaliforniaBelage, that is a good way of putting it. So, if we save well, saturn ruling time, money will come to us. Ah, that puts a positive spin on it, seeing as I only ever hear bad things about this placement.Thanks!!libraschoice7 You know that is a good way to look at it, I guess I will just have to save my money more often, and stop the risk taking(which I have done with failure).------------------Sun in LibraMoon in CancerJupiter in CancerVenus in VirgoMars in CancerAscendant in CancerI "FEEL" therefor I amHexxieGood ol' Father Time...libraschoice7 ~ I too have nSaturn straddling my 2nd & 3rd house cusp, but it is actually in my 2nd. I have Saturn14Leo11 and my 3rd house starts at 14Leo14! I also have my Jupiter in the 12th.With Saturn in the 2nd I have never been afraid of the challenge of hard work. I have been just fine with starting out at the bottom and working my way up through the ranks. I Am a hard worker so I guess Saturn here re-inforces this in me. Saturn has to be somewhere in ones chart and having Saturn in the 2nd is one of the best places IMHO. It can lend a certain steady methodic earning potential and/or in getting things you want. On the bad side wherever Saturn is if you're not passing the lessons this stern teacher gives you will have to take the test over...and over...and over...Even though you didn't ask about these I think they are important 2nd house descriptions too: The 2nd house isn't just $, it's also values and self esteem(which is your value to yourself) and how these things contribute to your sense of well-being/security. Also, it's not the money people want really. It's either the things it can buy or the security the money lends to us. Are you a saver or spender? Do you have the skills of an accountant or not? It also covers your moral values.RandallDiscipline can lead to monetary gains.Seimeibecome a slumlord, invest in real estate, by age 40-55 returns possible------------------LeekingCheeRandallDon't be a slumlord, but Saturn in the 2nd can indicate success in real estate if you treat people fairly.Seimei quote:Originally posted by Randall:Don't be a slumlord, but Saturn in the 2nd can indicate success in real estate if you treat people fairly.
